BROKER FAQ

Questions brokers ask

Where does the data come from?

Registered sales and Ejari lease contracts from the Dubai Land Department open data, via Data.Dubai. Never listing prices.

How often are the figures updated?

The Index is refreshed monthly from registered Dubai Land Department sales and leases. Each estimate summary says which month it is for.

Is Freehold Index independent?

Independent of the Dubai Land Department. Not a brokerage and not a portal. A broker or agency can add a note, but cannot edit or hide an estimate.

Why do you need my licence number?

Estimate summaries carry your BRN (RERA broker number) or trade licence number so clients can check who sent them. It is needed before your first estimate summary goes out.

What do you do with my clients' details?

Client details belong to you or your agency. We use them only to send estimate summaries you approve, and clients can unsubscribe from any estimate summary email, with no account.

Can I cancel?

Monthly plans cancel at the end of the period. Agency terms follow the contract.

What if I have more than 50 client properties?

Desk covers 50 client properties. Each one above that is AED 4 a month on monthly billing, or AED 40 a year on annual billing. White Label and Managed cover 500, then AED 3 each a month. All plus VAT where it applies.

Do you cover villas?

Villas and townhouses are next.

We never sell your details. They are held by our service providers, some of which store data outside the UAE. To have them deleted, email team@freeholdindex.com.
